Splash Pad by Day, Show Fountain by Night
The success of a large-scale, interactive water feature like this one—now the largest of its kind on the East Coast—hinges on a deep understanding of the client’s vision from the very beginning. From early renderings to startup testing, every phase was shaped by ongoing dialogue and collaboration. The client wanted a show fountain that would be both an interactive experience by day and a choreographed spectacle by night, complete with synchronized music and lighting. By staying closely aligned throughout the design process, we were able to refine the concept, anticipate challenges, and deliver a final product that exceeded expectations. The result is a dynamic and engaging centerpiece that reflects not just technical precision, but the original creative intent that inspired it.
Behind the artistry of the fountain is a carefully engineered system designed for both performance and reliability. The feature incorporates high-capacity pumps, programmable LED lighting, and a network of precision-controlled nozzles, all synchronized through a central control system that responds to music cues. Designing a system of this scale required detailed hydraulic modeling, electrical coordination, and integration with audio-visual components to ensure seamless operation. The choreography was fine-tuned through iterative testing, allowing the system to deliver consistent, dramatic effects while remaining efficient and serviceable. Every component—from the interactive jets to the concealed infrastructure—was selected and calibrated to meet the demands of a high-traffic, high-visibility installation.
